The NEW Stainless Steel G4 Base-rak

The next Generation... G4 Base is UK made in stainless steel using square cross-beams and with thread inserts in all the beams to allow more flexible fitting of future accessories. It has a new mount system that allows it to be tilted downward to allow loads to clear the back door as well as up for convenient storage when travelling. It weighs 8 Kg and it is rated at 130Kg because of its substantial construction. It fits all the accessories below. It sells for £149.

Xtender bars

Xtender bars. They allow longer items [or more bike racks] to be mounted on the frame. The Xtender gives over 1000mm of usable length. They telescope out to the required length then lock in position with a self-drill bolt.  Xtenders are £25 per set of two including a locking handwheel.

Typical uses for Xtender brackets are the fitting of more bikes, the mounting of other kit clear of a boot-mounted spare wheel, or the ability to quickly change between different uses.

Headboard

U-shaped frame that clamps onto back, side or front of the base-rak using our cross-clamps. Helps retain any loose items and gives additional clamping point. Frame is 40cm wide by 50 cm high but can easily be moved down or shortened. You can use one on each side if needed to retain a load. Bright zinc plated steel 1.5mm thick can be drilled for additional fitments. Will clamp flat to base when the base folded up. £22 each including all clamps.
